Derelict Farmhouse Snowdonia

Major rebuilding of a significant house in North Wales

Dyfi Architecture are highly qualified and respected in the field of Conservation Architecture and have many years experience working with traditional properties from cottages to significant Estates.

This North Wales Eryri (Snowdonia) farmhouse had been abandoned for many years and was clearly in need of urgent attention to save it.

Dyfi Architecture carried out highly detailed survey work and then gained full consents with a wonderful modern extension to be added making it fit for now and future generations.

This is particularly relevant when renovating older properties or stone cottages, where a house survey or architectural advice may be required before purchase or early in the design process. Traditional buildings do not respond well to standard approaches, and understanding construction, materials and previous alterations is essential in establishing what can reasonably be done.

Work is to start shortly on this amazing project.!

Dyfi Architecture is a multi-award winning practice
